The Chardonnay variety has found in the Finca of Legardeta a unique redoubt, with climatic conditions and of perfect soils to obtain, tipicity, complexity and a great capacity of aging. Chivite de Villatuerta Chardonnay changes, with the new vintage, of image and happens to be bottled in burgundy bottle, to emphasize its origin, the Estate of Legardeta, a real terroir of 138 hectares.

The influence of the Atlantic-continental climate, in terms of temperature and rainfall, allows Chardonnay to mature at its rate, slowly and gently maintaining good levels of acidity, pH and aromatic potential, finally showing freshness and expressiveness.

The soil contains significant amounts of clays and silts, a reservoir of water that allows the plant to have a suitable water regime and thus Chardonnay can mature gradually, without dehydration or show exaggerated increases of degree. In addition, the clay-calcareous soils are related to obtaining elegant and intense fine wines.

The vineyard has a high planting density of more than 6,000 plants / ha, a high density that provokes a competition between plants that results in a high quality of grapes.
The grapes were harvested by hand in drawers of 200 kg to arrive in perfect condition to the cellar where it is selected. After a small maceration, the grapes are pressed under low pressure. The resulting must once defrosted is taken to stainless steel tanks or to barrels (approximately 20%) where it ferments and remains on lees for about 5 months.
Bright yellow-green color, Legardeta Chardonnay 2015 shows an intense and complex aroma, emphasizing the white fruit of bone, citrus, white flowers. A mineral finish with toasted and citrus souvenirs completes this wine that is fresh and lively, broad, fatty and balanced in the mouth. (Recommended retail price € 14 / Bottle).

Perfect to accompany grilled fish, seafood, white meats, fresh cheeses, white, smoked fish; roasted chicken, lasagne, stuffed eggplants. It is recommended to serve at a temperature between 8 and 10 ° C.
