Viña Salceda Wines
The wine is primarily Tempranillo grape, which is hand picked and hand selected from our oldest vineyards in Elciego and Laguardia. The yields are very low, and the exhaustive cultivate control allows this variety to express all its excellent qualities. The winemaking methods combine the most traditional practices of Rioja Alta and Alavesa with the most modern oenological criteria to concentrate and conserve in this wine all of the personality of this region. The ageing took place in new barrels of French oak from Allier. More information...
Red crianza wine produced from Tempranillo grapes, with a touch of Graciano and Mazuelo, from vineyards with clay-limestone soils and altitudes between 380 and 450 meters. The grapes were harvested by hand with a selection on the vine. Once the winemaking process was finished, the wine aged in American oak barrels of 225 litters for 15 months. The wine then passed to the bottle where it continued its evolution in order to achieve balance and to strengthen the fruit characteristics of the Tempranillo grape. More information...
