Following the philosophy of the Gran Feudo wine range which combines traditional and modern techniques to create complex and elegant wines, Bodegas Chivite now presents these innovative, limited-production wines based on the best viticulture and winemaking techniques, passed on from father to sons in our family since 1647.

Gran Feudo Edición Rosado Sobre Lías

This innovative wine brings the whole Rosé category to a new dimension. Made according to the saignée method, after a short maceration the wine is fermented at controlled temperature with selected yeasts to provide maximum expression to the character of the grapes. The wine is then maintained in fine lees with frequent bâttonages to add complexity and to enhance its flavours and its ageing capacity in bottle –up to two years. More information...

Gran Feudo Edición Tempranillo

This young red wine is made with grapes from our own Tempranillo vineyards. It is the result of the most careful processes to extract the true expression of this noble grape variety. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with no further ageing in oak to extract the essence of the fruit. It is aromatic, balanced and has a good structure. More information...

Gran Feudo Edición Viñas Viejas Reserva

This Viñas Viejas Reserva is produced from carefully selected hand-picked Tempranillo and Garnacha grapes from our own vineyards planted between 1940 and 1960. These are the oldest and finest local grapes used for quality wines, complemented with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon to add complexity and aromas. This wine ages in new French oak barrels for 18 months with a further evolution in bottle to refine and harmonise the qualities of this wine and to develop its complex bouquet. More information...

Gran Feudo Edición Chardonnay Sobre Lías

This 100% Chardonnay wine follows the innovative philosophy that lies behind the whole Edición range. After fermentation at low temperature the wine is maintained for a period of six months on its own fine lees with frequent bâttonages. This helps to add complexity and personality to this unique Chardonnay, full of freshness and citrus aromas and flavours. More information...

Gran Feudo Edición Selección Especial Roble

This innovative red wine is made from carefully selected Tempranillo, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The short ageing of six months in French and American oak barrels respects the true character of the fruit while enhancing the structure, complexity and bouquet of this wine. Gran Feudo Edición Blanco Dulce de Moscatel

The Muscat à petits grains grapes used to make this fresh sweet wine were carefully hand-picked from our own vineyards. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks the wine was not aged in oak barrels in order to bring out the full character of this grape variety.
